Sounding box is a sound installation with mechanical parts of music boxes. They are fixed on a windowpane. The acoustic properties of the windowpanes are used as a resonating surface. The melodies of the music boxes are stripped down to only a few notes. A network of servomotors is used to drive each mechanical part separately a new score that is resonating through the windowpane.
