This installation uses a combination of tin cans, magnets and coils to generate electromagnetic charges. At the same time it explores how sound is created from the generated charge which resonates in these tin cans. A floating structure of 1000 tin cans is kept together with strong magnets. This creates a permanent magnetic field. Electromagnetic coils moves the structure, creating tiny vibrations that produce sounds. The vibrations are amplified acoustically by natural resonances which transform the tin boxes into sound boxes. This way the work emphasizes the transition between what can be seen and what can be heard.
